Material: Style 2010 is diagonally braided from pure, expanded, flexible graphite yarn.

Properties: Very flexible and supple packing, good alternative to pre-formed graphite-rings. Style 2010 combines the advantages of pure graphite rings with the ease of installation of conventional packings; very low coefficient of friction and excellent thermal conductivity; does not age or harden; chemically inert (pH 0-14) except with highly oxidizing media.

Application areas: Rotary pumps and valves in power stations and boiler houses, in the petrochemical industry and many other industrial areas.

Application media: Steam, water, fuel, gases, chemicals, mineral and synthetic oils, effluents. Suitable for all processes, except with highly oxidizing media.

Advantages: Teadit style 2010 is suitable for a wide range of applications; can reduce stock inventories considerably; provide economic alternatives to asbestos packings; reduce maintenance time and cater for very demanding duties. Because of its low density style 2010 yields more metres per kg, which makes it a very economical packing!

Not suitable for: Highly oxidizing agents.
